Who can qualify for the 2024 European Championship on matchday 7?

Who needs what for a place at the 2024 European Championship? These are the options of the teams ahead of matchday 7 of the European qualifying.

  • Qualified: Germany (host country).
  • Can qualify on matchday 7: Austria, Belgium, France, Portugal, Scotland.
  • Assured of at least a play-off spot through the Nations League: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Scotland, Serbia, Spain, Turkey.

Group A

Scotland will qualify if they beat Spain, or if Norway does not win.

Cyprus will not be eligible to finish in the top two if they do not win or if Spain avoids defeat.

Group B

Ireland is out of contention if it loses, or if it draws and the Netherlands wins.

Gibraltar cannot finish in the top two.

Group C

Nothing can be settled in Group C on matchday 7.

The Faroe Islands are out of contention if they lose, if the Czech Republic wins, or if both matches are drawn.

Group F

Belgium will qualify if it wins.

Austria will qualify if it wins.

Azerbaijan will not be able to finish in the top two if it does not win or if Belgium and Austria draw.

Estonia cannot finish in the top two.

Group G

Bulgaria will not be able to finish in the top two if they do not win.

Lithuania will not be able to finish in the top two if it does not win.

Group H

Northern Ireland will not be able to finish in the top two if they fail to win, or if both Denmark and Slovenia win.

San Marino cannot finish in the top two.

Group I

Belarus will not be able to finish in the top two if it loses, or if it draws and Israel beats Switzerland.

Kosovo will not be able to finish in the top two if it loses, or if it draws and Romania wins and Switzerland avoids defeat.

Andorra will not be able to finish in the top two if they fail to win, or regardless of whether Romania wins.

Group J
Portugal will qualify if it wins, or if it draws and Luxembourg loses.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be able to finish in the top two if it loses and Slovakia wins.

Iceland will not be able to finish in the top two if they lose and Slovakia wins.

Liechtenstein cannot finish in the top two.
