UEFA wants to allocate the organization of European Championship 2024 to 1 country

The 2024 European Football Championship will most likely be held in one country again. UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin recently announced this on German television.

The European Championship 2020 was played in no less than 13 countries because of the 60th anniversary, but in 2024 there will be one more be the host country.

On April 4, 2016 the Scandinavian countries gave Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland also indicated that they were jointly interested in a bid for the organization of the football tournament. Their chance therefore seems lost with Ceferin's ruling.

Other interested parties are Germany and Turkey.
