Turkey is a candidate to host Euro 2024
Turkey is going to make an attempt to bring in the organization of the European Championship 2024 football. The Turkish Football Association is officially a candidate for the European football tournament.
In the past, Turkey has also tried to bring the European Championship 2016 and European Championship 2020 to its own country, but that was not successful. Euro 2016 was awarded to France and Euro 2020 will be held in no less than 13 countries.
Turkey lost the battle after two rounds of voting in the allocation of Euro 2016. The European Championship 2020 will be played in 13 cities because of the 60th anniversary of the European Football Championship.
Earlier Germany has already applied for the European Football Championship in 2024.
