Official mascot 2024 European Championship has been unveiled

The official mascot for the 2024 European Championship has been revealed! Following in the footsteps of illustrious greats such as Berni, Goaliath, Rabbit and Kinas is a bear, a historic first for the tournament.

This bear mascot will be introduced to the German public tonight at the Arena AufSchalke, where the host country will take on Colombia in a friendly match. The mascot highlights its ambition to inspire children across Europe to get active and encourage their love of football and its values.

“As a parent, I know how important it is to stimulate children's imaginations,” explains Phillip Lahm, tournament director of EURO 2024. “With the launch of our tournament mascot, we hope to create a fun and likable character that will inspire them to enjoy football.”

Celia Šaši?, Tournament Director of EURO 2024 and Vice President of the DFB, added: “You can't lay the foundations for movement, playfulness and team spirit early enough. It's great to see UEFA inspiring the next generation to build self-confidence , living an active lifestyle and understanding the importance of team spirit – all important life lessons that will shape their future. This mascot will convey that powerful message.”

And in two weeks he will also have a name, chosen by children in UEFA's Football in Schools program and by you here on UEFA.com.
