The Scandinavian countries want to organize the 2024 European Football Championship. The Danish Football Association announced today that Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland want to host the football tournament. Matches will also be played in Iceland and the Faeröer.

The European Football Championship has only been organized once in history by a country from Scandinavia, namely Sweden in 1992. At the time neighboring Denmark won the tournament. Sweden also organized the World Cup in 1958.
